Limon
Limon Colorado Hotels
| Limon originated as a work camp for railroad workers in 1888 as the Chicago and Rock Island Line came through on its way to Colorado Springs. Named after foreman John Limon, it was known as a hub city and today the important transportation highways I-70, US-24, US-40, and several state highways all intersect here. In 1990 a tornado ripped through Main Street of Limon, destroying the town hall, post office, newspaper, state patrol office, the bank, the grocery store, and most of the town's police cars. Only minor injuries were reported, however most businesses were destroyed and 117 families were homeless. |
Littleton

| Littleton, founded in 1872 by Richard S. Little, who was hired to survey an irrigation ditch along the South Platte River in 1860. Soon after, he filed on 160 acres to farm. A traditional main street became the heart of the town and Littleton was incorporated in 1890. |

Today Louisville is a bedroom community for Boulder and Denver, and is a quaint attractive country town. |
