SUNLIGHT MOUNTAIN RESORT

Sunlight Mountain Resort - Glennwood Springs, Colorado

Sunlight's intimate, unpretentious atmosphere can be attributed to its historical roots. Named after a once-thriving coal mining town that disappeared in the early 1900's, Sunlight still serves up authentic western hospitality and adventure.

Enjoying 30 years of fun, Sunlight Mountain Resort is continuing to expand its mountain and services and still maintain its family, affordable rates, making it one of the best skiing and snowboarding values in the state.

Skiers and snowboarders will discover terrain from bumps and steeps to glades and groomed trails on more than 460 acres.

Sunlight has added five new runs, including four challenging black diamond runs and a new snowboard park complete with rails, slides, jumps, half-pipes and a fun box.

New skiers and snowboarders can learn in Sunlight's PSIA member ski school, and Nordic skiers and snowshoers have access to 10 kilometers of groomed trails in the serenity of the White River National Forest, located adjacent to the resort.

And if that's not enough, the Sunlight Powderhorn Trail offers the longest snowmobile system in the state -- more than 104 miles of snowmobile trails.

Sunlight Mountain Resort meets all your needs, from rentals to day care, entertainment and dining options.
